Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Women’s mentoring will be at the Brown’s Barn on Wed at 10:00.

Men’s Meeting for Members: Wed at 5:30 at the church building. We will be bringing in pizza and the elders will be sharing some things as well as hearing from the men on things they would like to discuss.

Prayer will be held at the church building.

On Sunday we will be summarizing 1 John. As we gather for the last time to consider the message of 1 John, let each of us consider how the Lord has used  this letter in our lives. How has it challenged you? How has it changed you? How has the Lord confronted or comforted you? Can you see that you think differently about anything. It is the Word of God by His Spirit alone that can change us. It is sharper than any two edged sword to penetrate our innermost being. Thomas Guthrie said of the Bible,  

“The Bible is an armory of heavenly weapons, a laboratory of infallible medicines, a mine of exhaustless wealth. It is a guidebook for every road, a chart for every sea, a medicine for every malady, and a balm for every wound. Rob us of our Bible and our sky has lost its sun.”
