This Week at Hope – Planning or Presuming?
Dear brothers and sisters,
We are embarking upon another year. 2018 has been ushered in. This is the time of the year for reflection and planning. The question we must ask ourselves is: “Is God at the beginning, the middle, and the end of my plans?” James 4:13-17 challenges us to consider whether we are planning or presuming.
Here are a couple of links to some great posts about entering into another year. I highly recommend them…

Prayer this week will be at the Burke’s home.
Mark your calendars for Prayer Week – January 14-21. Along with that, we will plan to have our day of fasting in conjunction with our prayer on the 17th and then break the fast together that evening at the church building before joining in prayer.
Songs for Sunday are as follows:
Solid Rock
Great is Thy Faithfulness
What God Ordains Is Always Good
Be unto Your Name
Take My Life and Let It Be
