This Week at Hope – It is Well
Brothers and Sisters,
How do we interpret the trials and tribulations of life? How should we think when tragedy strikes. The story of the Shunamite woman gives us anchors to hold on to in times like these. On Sunday, Joel Beeke will be preaching from 2 Kings 4:8-37, and his title and points are as follows:
Learning from the Shunammite Woman’s Great Faith. 1. Her expectant faith for the future. 2. Her submissive faith concerning the past. 3. Her faith applied to the present.
Prayer will be held at the Church building.
Women’s Mentoring is happening Wednesday at 10:00 at the Brown’s barn, 3721 Quarry Road, Wake Forest, to study Nancy Leigh DeMoss’s book, “Lies Women Believe.’
Please pray for the marriage retreat this weekend. We are expecting several to join with us for our Sunday worship services. The retreat is full, but if you would like to live stream the event, click here for more information. https://churchandfamilylife.com/events/216205
