This Week at Hope – Wars, Inflation, Hunger and Death
Brothers and Sisters,
In Revelation chapter 6, we continue to see what is happening before the throne of God. It is an unveiling of conditions on the earth until the second coming of Christ. When you watch the news, you are watching the fulfillment of the opening of the seals in Revelation 6. When you hear of wars and rumors of wars; when you read of national and international conflicts, diseases, plagues, famines, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, you are reading the fulfillment of Revelation 6:1-8, where we encounter the first four horsemen of Revelation. These seals put us on notice that the history of the world will include bloodshed, war, famine, economic collapse, plagues, disease, and death.
On Sunday afternoon, Robert Bosley will be preaching from the book of Jonah
Prayer will be held at the Brown’s Barn

All Creatures of Our God and King
All creatures of our God and King
Lift up your voice and with us sing
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Thou burning sun with golden beam
Thou silver moon with softer gleam
O praise Him! O praise Him!
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!
Thou rushing wind that art so strong
Ye clouds that sail in heav’n along,
O praise Him! Alleluia!
Thou rising morn, in praise rejoice,
Ye lights of evening, find a voice!
O praise Him! O praise Him!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
And all ye men of tender heart
Forgiving others, take your part
O sing ye! Alleluia!
Ye who long pain and sorrow bear
Praise God and on Him cast your care
O praise Him! O praise Him!
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!
Let all things their Creator bless
And worship Him in humbleness
O praise Him! Alleluia!
Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son
And praise the Spirit, Three in One
O praise Him! O praise Him!
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!
Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus
Stand up, stand up for Jesus,
Ye soldiers of the cross
Lift high His royal banner,
It must not suffer loss
From vict’ry unto vict’ry
His army shall He lead
Till every foe is vanquished
And Christ is Lord indeed
Stand up, stand up for Jesus,
The trumpet call obey
Forth to the mighty conflict
In this His glorious day
Ye that are His now serve Him
Against unnumbered foes
Let courage rise with danger
And strength to strength oppose
Stand up, stand up for Jesus,
Stand in His strength alone
The arm of flesh will fail you,
Ye dare not trust your own
Put on the gospel armor,
Each piece put on with prayer
Where duty calls or danger,
Be never wanting there
Stand up, stand up for Jesus,
The strife will not be long
This day the noise of battle,
The next the victor’s song
To him who overcometh,
A crown of life shall be
He, with the King of Glory,
Shall reign eternally
This Is My Father’s World
This is my Father’s world, and to my list’ning ears
All nature sings, and round me rings
The music of the spheres
This is my Father’s world, I rest me in the thought
Of rocks and trees, of skies and seas
His hand the wonders wrought
This is my Father’s world, the birds their carols raise
The morning light, the lily white
Declare their Maker’s praise
This is my Father’s world, He shines in all that’s fair
In the rustling grass I hear Him pass,
He speaks to me everywhere
This is my Father’s world, O let me ne’er forget
That though the wrong seems oft so strong
God is the Ruler yet
This is my Father’s world, the battle is not done
Jesus, who died, shall be satisfied
And earth and heav’n be one
Still, My Soul, Be Still
Still, my soul, be still and do not fear
Though winds of change may rage tomorrow
God is at your side no longer dread
The fires of unexpected sorrow
God You are my God
And I will trust in You
and not be shaken
Lord of peace renew
A steadfast spirit within me
To rest in You alone
Still, my soul, be still; do not be moved
By lesser lights and fleeting shadows
Hold onto His ways with shield of faith
Against temptations flaming arrows
Still, my soul, be still; do not forsake
The Truth you learned in the beginning
Wait upon the Lord and hope will rise
As stars appear when day is dim
Jesus Shall Reign
Jesus shall reign where’er the sun
Does its successive journeys run
His kingdom spread from shore to shore
Till moons shall wax and wane no more
To Him shall endless prayer be made
And endless praises crown His head
His name like sweet perfume shall rise
With every morning sacrifice
To our King be highest praise
Rising through eternal days
Just and faithful – He shall reign.
Jesus shall reign.
People and realms of every tongue
Dwell on His love with sweetest song
And infant voices shall proclaim
Their early blessings on His name
Let every creature rise and bring
His grateful honors to our King
Angels descend with songs again
And earth repeat the loud ‘Amen!’
