This Week at Hope – You Shall Be My Witnesses
Brothers and Sisters,

Our scripture focus on Sunday is Revelation 11, where we find what is for me, some of the most difficult imagery we’ve encountered so far… So please pray for me. I am confident however that this chapter covers the dramatic experiences of the Church of Jesus Christ before a hostile world. Here is the progression of the pictures in this chapter.
1. Measuring the temple to distinguish the true and the false, v1-2.
2. The two witnesses, v3-6.
3. The witnesses are struck down, v7-10.
4. The witnesses are vindicated, v11-15.
On Mike Davenport leading singing: Notice that we are having more men leading our singing and worship. As Mike has been spending more time in personal shepherding and meeting with the single women in the church at his house on Saturday, he will be shifting away from some of his time leading singing. Instead of Mike alone leasing, there will be a total of four men who will be leading the singing: Trent, Josh, Ash, and Mike will fill in when needed. Generally, these men will each be leading for an entire month, then pass it to the next man.
