This Week at Hope – Before the Throne of God and the Lamb
Brothers and Sisters,
On Sunday, our focus is Revelation 7:9-8:1, where we shift from the scene of the 144,000 on earth, to the multitude in heaven. I believe these are the same group seen from two different perspectives. Revelation is pictorial theology. It shows pictures of doctrinal truth. Now we are brought into the doctrine of heaven and what it is like to be before God and the Lamb.
Please pray for the marriage retreat, “Getting the Picture Right – In Your First Ten Years of Marriage.”
https://churchandfamilylife.com/events/221704 It starts at 6:00 on Friday with dinner and continues all day Saturday concluding after dinner. Please pray for a younger generation to find their pace in marriage according to the truth of God. There is more room if you know anyone who would like to go.
Prayer will be held at the Brown’s Barn

The songs we will be singing on Sunday are,
Behold Our God
All The Way My Savior Leads Me
Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
Complete In Thee
Emmanuel’s Land
Behold Our God
Who has held the oceans in His hands?
Who has numbered every grain of sand?
Kings and nations tremble at His voice
All creation rises to rejoice
Behold our God seated on His throne
Come, let us adore Him
Behold our King—nothing can compare
Come, let us adore Him
Who has given counsel to the Lord?
Who can question any of His words?
Who can teach the One who knows all things?
Who can fathom all His wondrous deeds?
Who has felt the nails upon His hands?
Bearing all the guilt of sinful man
God eternal, humbled to the grave
Jesus, Savior, risen now to reign
All The Way My Savior Leads Me
All the way my Savior leads me
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy
Who through life has been my Guide
Heavenly peace, divinest comfort
Here by faith in Him to dwell
For I know what e’er befall me
Jesus doeth all things well
For I know what e’er befall me
Jesus doeth all things well
All the way my Savior leads me
Cheers each winding path I tread
Gives me grace for every trial
Feeds me with the living bread
Though my weary steps may falter
And my soul a thirst may be
Gushing from the rock before me
Lo, a spring of joy I see
Gushing from the rock before me
Lo, a spring of joy I see
All the way my Savior leads me
O the fullness of His love
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s house above
When my spirit clothed immortal
Wings its flight to realms of day
This my song through endless ages
Jesus lead me all the way
This my song through endless ages
Jesus lead me all the way
Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
O soul are you weary and troubled
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.
Though death into life everlasting
He passed and we follow Him there;
O’er us sin no more hath dominion
For more than conquerors we are
HIs word shall not fail you He promised;
Believe Him and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!
Complete In Thee
Complete in Thee, no work of mine
Could take, dear Lord, the place of Thine.
Thy blood hath pardon bought for me,
And I shall stand complete in Thee!
Yea, justified, oh blessed thought!
And sanctified salvation-wrought!
Thy blood hath pardon bought for me,
And glorified I, too, shall be.
Complete in Thee, each want supplied,
And no good thing to me denied,
Since Thou my portion, Lord, will be,
I ask no more, complete in Thee!
Complete in Thee, no more shall sin
Thy grace has conquered reign within;
Thy blood shall bid the tempter flee,
And I shall stand complete in Thee!
Dear Savior, when, before Thy bar,
All tribes and tongues assembled are,
Among the chosen I shall be,
At Thy right hand, complete in Thee!
Emmanuel’s Land
The sands of time are sinking,
The dawn of heaven breaks,
The summer morn I’ve sighed for,
The fair sweet morn awakes;
Dark, dark, hath been the midnight,
But dayspring is at hand,
And glory, glory dwelleth
In Emmanuel’s land.
The King there in His beauty
Without a veil is seen;
It were a well-spent journey
Though seven deaths lay between:
The Lamb with His fair army
Doth on Mount Zion stand,
And glory, glory dwelleth
In Emmanuel’s land.
O Christ, He is the fountain,
The deep sweet well of love!
The streams on earth I’ve tasted
More deep I’ll drink above:
There to an ocean fullness
His mercy doth expand,
And glory, glory dwelleth
In Emmanuel’s land.
The bride eyes not her garment,
But her dear bridegroom’s face;
I will not gaze at glory,
But on my King of grace;
Not at the crown He gifteth,
But on His pierced hand:
The Lamb is all the glory
Of Emmanuel’s land.
