This Week at Hope – Come See a Man
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
On Sunday we will consider John 4:27-42 where the “woman at the well” left her waterpot and told the people of the city of the man who has living water – the water she was now drinking. These wonderful words in verse 39, “And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all that I ever did,” tell us of the beauty of salvation and the necessity of sharing it. And this is the heart of the matter… doing the will of God by sharing it as Jesus said, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent me.” The message here is this, am I focused on the will of God? Is doing the will of God, what I desire most?
Prayer will be held at the Noah home
Upcoming events:
Father Daughter Campout, June 1-2

Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing
Come, Thou Fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy, never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise His name – I’m fixed upon it
Name of God’s redeeming love
Hitherto Thy love has blest me
Thou hast bro’t me to this place
And I know Thy hand will bring me
Safely home by Thy good grace
Jesus sought me when a stranger
Wand’ring from the fold of God
He, to rescue me from danger
Bo’t me with His precious blood
O to grace how great a debtor
Daily I’m constrained to be!
Let Thy goodness, like a fetter
Bind my wand’ring heart to Thee
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it
Prone to leave the God I love
Here’s my heart, O take and seal it
Seal it for Thy courts above
Far and Near the Fields Are Teeming
(tune of Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah)
Far and near the fields are teeming
With the waves of ripened grain;
Far and near their gold is gleaming
O’er the sunny slope and plain.
Lord of harvest, send forth reapers!
Hear us Lord, to Thee we cry;
Send them ere the harvest-time pass by.
Send them forth with morn’s first beaming,
Send them in the noon-tides’ glare;
When the sun’s last rays are gleaming,
Bid them gather everywhere.
Lord of harvest, send forth reapers!
Hear us Lord, to Thee we cry;
Send them ere the harvest-time pass by.
O thou, whom thy Lord is sending,
Gather now the sheaves of gold;
Heav’nward then at evening wending
Thou shalt come with joy untold.
Lord of harvest, send forth reapers!
Hear us Lord, to Thee we cry;
Send them ere the harvest-time pass by.
Rise Up, O Church of God
Rise up, O Church of God!
Have done with lesser things
Give heart and mind and soul and strength
To serve the King of kings
Rise up, O Church of God!
His kingdom tarries long
Bring in the day of brotherhood
And end the night of wrong
Rise up, O sons of God!
The Church for you doth wait
Her strength unequal to her task
Rise up, and make her great!
Lift high the cross of Christ!
Tread where His feet have trod
As followers of the Son of Man
Rise up, O Church of God!
O Church Arise
O church arise and put your armor on
Hear the call of Christ our Captain
For now the weak can say that they are strong
In the strength that God has given
With shield of faith and belt of truth
We’ll stand against the devil’s lies
An army bold whose battle cry is Love
Reaching out to those in darkness
Our call to war to love the captive soul
But to rage against the captor
And with the sword that makes the wounded whole
We will fight with faith and valor
When faced with trials on every side
We know the outcome is secure
And Christ will have the prize for which He died
An inheritance of nations
Come see the cross where love and mercy meet
As the Son of God is stricken
Then see His foes lie crushed beneath His feet
For the Conqueror has risen
And as the stone is rolled away
And Christ emerges from the grave
This victory march continues till the day
Every eye and heart shall see Him
So Spirit come put strength in every stride
Give grace for every hurdle
That we may run with faith to win the prize
Of a servant good and faithful
As saints of old still line the way
Retelling triumphs of His grace
We hear their calls and hunger for the day
When with Christ we stand in Glory
Grace Greater Than Our Sin
Marvelous grace of our loving Lord
Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt
Yonder on Calvary’s mount outpoured
There where the blood of the Lamb was spilt
Grace, grace, God’s grace
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within!
Grace, grace, God’s grace
Grace that is greater than all our sin!
Sin and despair, like the sea waves cold
Threaten the soul with infinite loss
Grace that is greater, yes, grace untold
Points to the refuge, the mighty cross
Dark is the stain that we cannot hide
What can avail to wash it away?
Look! there is flowing a crimson tide
Whiter than snow you may be today
Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace
Freely bestowed on all who believe!
You that are longing to see His face
Will you this moment His grace receive?
