This Week at Hope – Never Snatched out of His Hand
Brothers and Sisters,
Prayer will be held at the Brown’s Barn.
Jesus’ success rate with His children is 100 percent. He loses none of His sheep. In John 10:22-31, Jesus continues to proclaim His deity and unity with the Father as well as the impossibility of losing your salvation. This message that Jesus has consistently proclaimed, causes the Pharisees to pick up stones again. This is the fourth time they have taken action to kill Him… but they always fail and always will fail.
Carillon Assisted Living Ministry – Thursday night, 6:30pm to approx. 8:00. We meet at 3218 Heritage Trade Dr, Wake Forest. Come to encourage some dear elderly folks for a short message, hymns, and fellowship. Your heart will be encouraged, and your presence will be a blessing to these dear folks who are unable to attend church regularly at this stage in their lives.
The songs we will be singing are here:
And Can It Be
Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus
O the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus
Before the Throne of God
Immovable Our Hope Remains
And Can It Be
And can it be that I should gain
An int’rest in the Savior’s blood?
Died He for me, who caused His pain;
For me, who Him to death pursued?
Amazing love! how can it be
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me.
Amazing love! how can it be
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me.
He left His Father’s throne above,
So free, so infinite His grace,
Humbled Himself because of love
And bled for all His chosen race.
ëTis mercy all, immense and free
For, O my God, it found out me.
Amazing love! how can it be
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me.
Long my imprisoned spirit lay,
Fast bound in sin and nature’s night;
Thine eye diffused a quick’ning ray –
I woke, the dungeon flamed with light.
My chains fell off; my heart was free.
I rose, went forth, and followed Thee.
Amazing love! how can it be
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me.
No condemnation now I dread
Jesus, and all in Him, is mine;
Alive in Him, my living Head,
And clothed in righteousness divine
Bold I approach th’eternal throne
And claim the crown, thro’ Christ my own.
Amazing love! how can it be
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me.
Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus
Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus
Just to take Him at His Word
Just to rest upon His promise
Just to know: ‘Thus saith the Lord’
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er!
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more
O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word,
Just in simple faith to plunge me
Neath the healing, cleansing flood!
Yes, tis sweet, to trust in Jesus
Just from sin and self to cease
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest, and joy and peace
I’m so glad I learned to trust Thee
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend
And I know that Thou art with me
Wilt be with me to the end
O the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus
O the deep, deep love of Jesus
Vast, unmeasured, boundless, free
Rolling as a mighty ocean
In its fullness over me
Underneath me, all around me
Is the current of Thy love
Leading onward, leading homeward
To my glorious rest above
O the deep, deep love of Jesus
Spread His praise from shore to shore
How He loveth, ever loveth
Changeth never, never more
How He watches o’er His loved ones
Died to call them all His own
How for them He intercedeth
Watcheth o’er them from the throne
O the deep, deep love of Jesus
Love of every love the best
Tis an ocean vast of blessing
Tis a haven sweet of rest
O the deep, deep love of Jesus
Tis a heav’n of heav’ns to me
And it lifts me up to glory
For it lifts me up to Thee
Before the Throne of God
Before the throne of God above
I have a strong and perfect plea
A great High Priest whose name is Love
Who ever lives and pleads for me
My name is graven on His hands
My name is written on His heart
I know that while in heav’n He stands
No tongue can bid me thence depart
No tongue can bid me thence depart
When Satan tempts me to despair
And tells me of the guilt within
Upward I look and see Him there
Who made an end of all my sin
Because the sinless Savior died
My sinful soul is counted free
For God the just is satisfied
To look on Him and pardon me
To look on Him and pardon me
Behold Him there, the risen Lamb
My perfect spotless righteousness
The great unchangeable I Am
The King of glory and of grace
One with Himself I cannot die
My soul is purchased by His blood
My life is hid with Christ on high
With Christ my Savior and my God
With Christ my Savior and my God
Immovable Our Hope Remains
Immovable our hope remains
Though shifting sands before us lie
The One who washed away our stains
Shall bear us safely to the skies
The floods may rise, the winds may beat
Torrential rains descend
Yet God His own will not forget
He’ll love and keep us till the end
You’ll love and keep us till the end
This is eternal life: to know
The living God and Christ, the Son
The Savior will not let us go
Until His saving work is done
Our debt was great, as was our need
But now the price is paid
Who can behold Immanuel bleed
And doubt His willingness to save?
We trust Your willingness to save
The Lord acquits, who can condemn?
Though Satan’s accusations fly
His pow’r can never reach our names
To blot them from the Book of Life
The Son has surely made us free
His Word forever stands
And all our joy is knowing we
Are graven on His wounded hands
We’re graven on Your wounded hands
Built into Christ, secure we stand
For with His Spirit we’ve been sealed
By grace we’ll see the promised land
Where every sorrow shall be healed
To God who gave His only Son
To Jesus Christ, our Lord
To God the Spirit, Three-in-one
Be songs of praise forevermore
We’ll sing Your praise forevermore
